Radio Act technical regulations conformity certification for specified radio equipment (技術基準適合証明等 / 技適マーク)
Specified radio equipment (特定無線設備: radio equipment for small-scale radio stations such as mobile phones, as set by MIC ordinance) can receive simplified licensing procedures if it has gone through conformity certification and bears the giteki mark.
